Papa John's founder John Schnatter's wife files for divorce after 32-years of marriage
Annette Schnatter, the wife of Papa John's founder John Schnatter has filed for divorce from the pizza provocateur after 32-years of marriage.
In the court papers filed on Thursday, December 5, John's wife who identified herself as M. Annette Cos, said their marriage is irretrievably broken.
In her divorce petition, Cox points out she's self-employed but adds that John who is worth an estimated $500m is not employed.
According to the Courier-Journal, Cox said they separated on April 1, and had already come to a settlement as to how they want to separate their assets, which include Louisville's most expensive home (an $11 million, 18,000-square-foot mansion with 15 acres), a $6 million condo in Naples, Florida, and a $23 million condo in Deer Valley, Utah.
The couple who have been married since April 198, have two adult children.
The news of their divorce comes a year after the Papa John's founder was forced to resign as the CEO and board chairman of the company after using the N-word while defending support from white nationalist groups over his criticism of national anthem protests at NFL games.
